Optiv Associate Learning Partner | Remote, USA in Denver, Colorado

Under general daily supervision of the Senior Manager of Learning and Development, the Associate Learning Partner will work on various projects under the Learning and Talent Development umbrella that support the efforts of employee personal and professional growth. The employee will assist with identifying learning opportunities, develop, deliver, and implement learning solutions as well as assist the Talent Development Partner to create career pathways for employee’s professional success.

How you'll make an impact

  • Consult with the Learning and Development team to assess training needs.

  • Deliver individual and group training programs for new and existing employees.

  • Assist with evaluation of the effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods.

  • Develops and maintains continual education support materials to be used for reference once training has been completed.

  • Identify and align training opportunities within the company to be scaled and replicated for global expansion.

  • Support the Talent Development Partner on the Career Pathways initiative.

  • Conduct focus group assessments with key stakeholders to define role clarity, career pathways and promotions within a career model/family.

  • Draft success profiles that outline capabilities (skills), competencies (behaviors), and organizational development for progression throughout the organization.

  • Partner with Learning Partners and Talent Development Partner to identify and develop resources and tools to support employee performance and career development.

  • Maintain, Edit and Review the Learning and Development SharePoint page.

  • This position will be hired in Denver or Kansas City to go into the office as needed.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Adult Learning, Learning and Development, Communications, Human Resources, or Education.

  • 1 – 3 years of adult learning theory and application – including integration with analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.

  • 1 – 3 years of creating and implementing soft skills training.

  • Proficient presentation, facilitation, and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to build rapport, relationships, and interact with people at all levels in the organization.

  • Proven ability to utilize strategic and critical thinking skills to present complex information to a variety of audiences.

  • Proven ability to work effectively with internal/external stakeholders and business partners.

  • Proven ability to prioritize and adjust priorities based on changing business needs.

  • Effective time management, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills with an acute attention to detail

  • Experience with Learning/Talent Management Systems required. Experience with Cornerstone preferred.

  • This position may occasionally be required to travel to company locations other than where normally assigned for the purpose of project work, meetings, or presentations. This may involve overnight travel.

Salary Range Description

$47,900.00 - $64,000.00 Annual

The Hiring Range provided for this role is informed by (but not limited to) various factors including responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, geography, as well as other market influences when extending an offer. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for these factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a variable incentive-based bonus plan. Optiv offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, of which salary is a component.
