ASRC FEDERAL (Agile Decision Sciences) is seeking a Systems Engineer Senior II (Windows System Administrator) for our contract located at Aberdeen Proving Ground. This position is 100% remote.

Windows Systems Engineer Senior II - Remote (GFEBS-04)

Each position plays a crucial part in maintaining and advancing our environment, ensuring seamless operations and robust support for CECOM personnel worldwide.

Position Description: This position supports Windows Engineering Sustainment under ASRC Federal’s CECOM SETA Support within the PEO EIS MSP. The PEO EIS MSP provides critical IT services to the U.S. Army, ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of Windows-based systems. As a Software Engineer Senior II, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing these systems to meet the Army’s operational and security requirements.

Requirements :

(GFEBS-04)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other Engineering or Technical disciplines is required..

  • Certifications: DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II and applicable DoD 8570.01-M Computing Environment certification.

  • Secret security clearance.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Windows Server administrator.

  • Proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 administration.

  • Hands-on experience with Group Policy Object (GPO) Administration.

  • Experience operating Windows servers in AWS cloud environments.

  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell or similar).

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

  • Windows or other applicable Technical Certification.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of DoD security requirements and compliance (STIG/ACAS).

  • Knowledge of ERP SAP environments.

  • Linux Administration knowledge.

  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow.

  • Experience working in an Agile Framework environment.

  • Experience in performing Windows in-place upgrades.

  • Experience with WSUS patching issues.
