Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Full Stack Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work with various data sources to update the customer's monitoring dashboard and ensure analysts are being alerted to events of interests .

What You'll Be Doing:

• Create a lightweight version of the current dashboard to deploy to remote locations with limited resources.

• Test, troubleshoot and identify areas for optimization

• Work collaboratively on a 7 person team

• 2 days of telework available each week

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• 20 years of software development/engineering experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

• Proficiency with Java full stack development

• Experience with ElasticStack: ElasticSearch, Logstash, and Kibana

• Familiarity with GIT

• Backend development experience

• Metrics and/or observability data experience (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and/or Splunk)

• Comfortable with learning new programming languages

• Docker, Kubernetes, ELK stack

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience with REST architectures

• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD

• Experience with the Atlassian suite of software development and management products (Confluence and Jira)

• Docker, Kubernetes, ELK stack

Salary Range:

$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
