Insight Global Remote Business Development Manager in Arlington, Virginia

Job Description

Our Client is looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Sales Manager who will serve as both a leader to a team of 5 business development professionals with a target of 100M/ year with significant upside potential. As the Sales Manager, you will develop and implement successful sales strategies, build strong relationships with customers, and lead your team to achieve targets and drive growth. You must have a proven track record of accountability, results orientation, and team leadership. Additionally, you must have the ability to create long-lasting relationships with clients, identify and capture business opportunities, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

7-10 years of experience as a proven Sales Director, Account Manager or similar

Scouted for and managed $100M projects in the infrastructure, construction, Energy space

Technical BS Degree

MS Degree in Engineering, Technology, or other related field

Demonstrated leadership skills in managing multiple projects with multi-disciplinary teams including program management, services, engineering, operations and logistics

Strong written and verbal communications skills - will be interfacing with C-suite level executives both internally and externally

Strong relationship management

Familiarity with power distribution units, electrical infrastructure, energy procurement, and energy related industries (automation, fire protection, solar and/or power generation)

Experience leading IDIQ's for the US Federal Government

Open to travel - 25-50%

Currently holding a government issued security clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret clearance null
