The Solutions Architect will be part of the CISO org and play a pivotal role in shaping, designing, and implementing comprehensive technology solutions that address our business needs in alignment with our organization's technology strategy and architecture. With a deep understanding of various technologies, you will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and other IT professionals to create a cohesive and efficient system that meets the needs of the business.

You will coordinate with on-going projects, initiatives, and efforts to identify best-fit technical solutions that address existing business problems. You will work with stakeholders to plan and deliver transformations, cloud migrations and various systems integrations. You will work closely with leaders across our IT-footprint to document solutions and business processes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and map cybersecurity principles, infrastructure, data, applications, and cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and document the overall solution architecture and lifecycle roadmaps.

  • Document how applications and technology solutions support business based on functional fit, technical fit, and risk.

  • Advise stakeholders proposing technical solutions on best-fit and technology redundancy / obsolescence.

  • Work with the various stakeholder to comprehend their needs and requirements.

  • Communicate effectively with both the business and IT. Comfortably navigate both environments while aligning stakeholders.

  • Employ principles from cybersecurity, data governance, infrastructure, applications, and cloud solutions to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and platforms for the solution.

  • Develop and maintain architectural standards and best practices focused on technology implementation.

  • Work with project and development teams to ensure that the solution meets performance, scalability, and security requirements.

  • Support transformation efforts, cloud migrations and systems integrations by planning and delivering solution architecture maps with operational teams.

  • Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to identify security risks, define threat models, and implement robust security controls and measures across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure architectures, leveraging best practices and technologies to optimize performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Support the design and implementation of data architectures, including data governance, data modeling, data integration, and data security strategies, to ensure the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of enterprise data assets.

  • Evaluate and recommend cloud platforms, services, and deployment models to support business initiatives, mitigate risks, and optimize resource utilization.

  • Collaborate with application development teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions, microservices architectures, and containerization strategies.

  • Support cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and cybersecurity threats, and proactively assess their impact on our architecture and technology roadmap.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the architecture team and across the organization.

Here’s what you’ll need :

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

· 7-10 years of experience in solution architecture, with a focus on cybersecurity, infrastructure, applications, and cloud technologies.

· In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, standards, and best practices, with hands-on experience in threat modeling, risk assessment, and security controls implementation.

· Hands-on experience with application architecture patterns, frameworks, and technologies.

· Preferred experience with microservices, APIs, databases, and middleware.

· Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture principles, including network design, virtualization, storage, and disaster recovery.

· Proficiency in designing and architecting complex, distributed applications using modern frameworks, microservices architectures, and containerization technologies.

· Experience with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, OCI, or Google Cloud Platform, and familiarity with cloud security controls and compliance frameworks.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-oriented recommendations.

· Proven track record of leading architectural initiatives, driving innovation, and delivering solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

· Relevant certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM), infrastructure (e.g., CCNA, MCSE), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are desirable.

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations [add if remote].
