Georgia Employer CONTRACT NEGOTIATOR-LEGAL TEAM (REMOTE / WFH IN FL in Atlanta, Georgia

At Alight, we are reimagining how people and organizations thrive.The Contract Administrator must have the knowledge and experience to be the legal lead in reviewing, negotiating and finalizing a high volume of both routine and complex commercial agreements with attorney oversight as required. You will represent Alight in negotiations with clients, suppliers, and other constituents and must be able to balance the business needs and objectives of multiple internal stakeholders while arriving at mutual solutions with our clients and suppliers. While the focus will be on client and supplier commercial agreements, you must be flexible and willing to work across other areas and initiatives within the legal function and the broader business.Essential Functions/Core ResponsibilitiesReview, draft and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors, non-disclosure agreements and other similar type agreements with legal oversight as needed.Validate that these agreements conform to business requirements and Alight's policies and contracting practices.Coordinate and lead meetings involving numerous stakeholders from across the business to collect and incorporate agreement feedback.Participate in client negotiations, project manage the negotiation process, update agreement with applicable changes and document agreements using clear, concise and accurate terms.Track progress and results of multiple ongoing projects simultaneously while acting with urgency.Maintain and update legal databases as appropriate.Develop and maintain contract templates, approved responses and standard practices and procedures.Track, identify and report trends in contracting performance within the organization.Support continuous improvement efforts to drive greater efficiency within the contracting process and the legal team.Assist other members on the legal team with ensuring delivery of final, agreed-upon documents.Assist the legal team with longer-term, strategic projects, as necessary.A detailed-oriented person, who exercises excellent judgement and professionalism, and thinks creatively and critically, in order to partner with our clients to reach mutually agreed-upon solutions.A strong legal and business acumen.The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, appropriately escalating issues when needed.The ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment, with a good sense of emotional intelligence to work collaboratively with a diverse team.Ability to multi-task, incorporating outstanding organizational skills and flexibility, to prioritize work and deliver the maximum business value.Familiarity and comfort with legal technology solutions, including contract management databases.Candidate ProfileFive plus years related experience.A bachelor's degree from a 4 year college required.Experience with commercial transactions in an in-house environment preferred.Ability to...
