Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Work with the GP leadership team to support and grow trusted relationships with business stakeholders to understand relevant business issuesCreate and maintain program project plans using established templates and processesWork with program/process owners, stakeholders and teammates with regards to planning and dealing with issues, risks and challenges for our customers.Manage the deployment of specific programs including the management and control of coordination and administrative activities to achieve defined program relateddeployment targets and goals.Schedule, attend and run weekly program meetings to ensure open and clear communication levels are maintained and activities are in line with the program project plan.Analyze program evaluations in order to judge effectiveness of programs and to provide suggested changes for improvement to leaders within the departmentAssist with event delivery and support to supplement event staff capacityManages aspects of assigned events including site selection, hotel contract, food and beverage menus, air and ground transportation, agenda development and review, registrations, on-site supervision of event, and budgeting.Manages working relationships with external vendors assisting in the administration of various events.Responsible for program Speaker Management: scheduling, confirming, preparing presentersResponsible for program registration setup and ongoing registration managementAddress issues escalated from attendees, sponsors, and/or GP leadership teamCollaborates with teammates, vendors and customers all over the worldCore Competencies:Strong project management skills and extreme attention to detailAbility to manage timelines with internal team and external partnersStrong organizational, time management, and problem solving skillsProfessional and courteous behavior with a creative approach to problem resolutionAbility to work with all levels of professionals in the workplace from executives to individual contributorsRequired Qualifications:Experience working as a program manager, events manager or similar roleExperience in stakeholder managementProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook)Experience understanding cultural competencies and working with under-represented groups preferredGP Strategies is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
