The Digital Technology Engineering is looking for a highly motivated IT professional who defines PLM solutions for business needs and works closely with development team to implement them. Translate business requirements to solution definitions, provides requirements to development teams, provides input to design reviews, utilizes configuration tools, and works closely with senior architects to deliver scalable and strategic solutions.

What YOU will do:

  • You will ensure that the engineering requirements can be implemented without conflicts and compromises and is fully scalable with performance.

  • You will assist in the Creation of Solution guidelines and frameworks.

  • You will find opportunities to be common, efficient with minimal customization.

  • You will provide business partners (i.e internal customers) with quality experiences, establishing and maintaining effective relationships.

  • You will oversee definition, testing and training activities for multiple functional areas within the PLM environment.

  • You will evaluate new technology and solutions and make recommendations.

  • You will work with Senior architect and road map team to implement new technologies.

  • You will take personal initiative to proactively collaborate within the team and with business partners.

  • You will build relationships across the broader Raytheon Technologies organization to leverage best practices and lessons learned sharing.

  • You will foster relationships with your DT peers all over the world that work and WANT to work at Collins.

  • You will learn how to be a subject matter expert within the organization. Provide coaching to employees who will be in both direct and indirect (matrix) reporting structure.

Education & Experience:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications you must have:

  • 7+ relevant Engineering and PLM technologies experience and some experience with configurations (Teamcenter, Enovia or PLM in general) and integrations with other engineering applications

  • Experience to establish and maintain traceability throughout the product's lifecycle with a focus to support the strategy for Digital Thread and Digital Twin

  • Experience with designing engineering ecosystem that provides end -to -end efficient digital engineering experience.

  • Proven track record as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead, crafting new solutions and delivering business outcomes.

Skills We Value:

  • Demonstrated experience of delivering business process change

  • Demonstrated experience in SaFE and architecture frameworks.

  • Exposure in Cloud-based (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) Architecture

  • Evaluate new technology and solutions and make recommendations (for example Low Code solutions like Mendix).

  • Experience with front-end UI technologies would be helpful.

  • Awareness of Cyber security and Architecture/Database for PLM implementation.

  • Project Management skills and/or Agile Methodologies preferred.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
