Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Model DevelopmentVerify P&ID and fill TDT Excel with available tags (transmitter) in P&ID Verify availability of tags in PI server / Cloud serverBuilding models in PRiSM

  • Adding the tags

  • Importing data from PI / Cloud server

  • Creating operational profile

  • Setting Filters

  • Setting Alert Thresholds

  • Deploying Operational profileVerify results in PRiSM Web and retrain the model in PRiSM Client, if necessaryProposing the necessary TDT Metrics for a model (Ex: Compressor Mech/ Process/Seal…)Proposing various faults to be included in a model templateBuilding Templates in PRiSM

  • Creating template Metrics

  • Setting Alert Thresholds

  • Creating Fault Diagnostics overview including adding faults, description, next steps and deviation summary

  • Alarm management – Managing alerts from PRiSM Web

  • A sudden change in any of the parameters in the PRiSM model for a limited / shorter time interval, which comes back to its previous value, will be acknowledged as random peak (or)

  • If a sudden change in any of the parameters in the PRiSM model during start up and shutdown of equipment, for a limited / shorter time interval, which comes back to its previous value, will be acknowledged as Transient peak. (or)

  • If a transmitter becomes faulty the tags are removed from model after informing the customer and will be acknowledged as instrument problem (or)

  • If a Gradual or step change of parameters of the asset with respect to change in other parameters which lead to the machine failure will be reported to the customer after analysis and is acknowledged as mechanical problem (or)

  • If a model is to be retrained, due to known issues / model sensitivity the alarm is acknowledged as model issue/retrain model. (It can include changing OMR setting, varying alarm thresholds.)

  • Performing detailed investigation of real alerts from PRiSM.

  • Alerts need to be analyzed with minimum 6 months to 1 year of data to understand this severity

  • Equipment specific P&ID are to be referred to understand instrumentation and arrangement of specific equipment. Detailed analysis to determine possible causes of the alert / issue.

  • Detailed analysis using PRiSM Client features like visual comparison, data playback, etc.
