Cigna Business Acceptance Testing Lead Analyst - Work from home in Bloomfield, Connecticut

Remote, Work from Home, United States

Note: Working occasional weekends will be required (once per Quarter or slightly more depending on testing).

The Operations Lead Analyst is responsible for all aspects of Business Acceptance Testing within the Provider Reimbursement Solutions and Operations Delivery Support and Operations Management team. The Operations Lead Analyst will work closely with the Delivery Teams, Systems (QE) Team, Business Users and/or Development Teams supporting, but not

limited to, MRC Pega, Stand Alone NetworX Pricer (SANP) (PAR & NonPar), and Optum (PAR & NonPAR), FSS/SID and Facets. Additionally, this role will be responsible to continually expand knowledge of the systems and business uses in order to support delivery of innovative solutions to better serve our customers and enhance the provider experience.

Job activities include:

1) Understanding changes to business processes as the result of an update to the asset

2) Translate asset changes into test scenarios

3) Perform all business acceptance testing activities

4) Validate, monitor and analyze pricing informaiton to ensure pricing accuracy

5) Support implementation of new business programs within Provider Manage Finance


Business Acceptance Testing

Gain an indepth understanding of upcoming release capabilities in support of test script creation

Continuously expanding knowledge of the pricing process and capabilities delivered, even when not directly testing the functionality

Develop and execute business acceptance and regression testing, to ensure results meet the business needs and desired outcomes

Identify, analyze and articulate issues identified during testing to ensure swift resolution

Serve as the Acceptance Testing Subject Matter Expert for capabilities assigned

Provides support in developing and/or modifying the teams Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Training Materials

Qualifications - Technical Skills & Knowledge:

Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred or equivalent work experience required

3+ years of prior claims processing experience or working knowledge of claim systems required

Agile, Jira/Zephyr experience preferred

Demonstrated change agent / ability to effectively manage change

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to learn and master subject matter content

Excellent conceptual and analytical skills with ability to identify lineage between interfacing systems and processes, identify issues and to manage/execute solutions to resolution.

Ability to translate technical information into actionable business processes

Flexibility to change course based on business needs

Excellent communication skills

Strong presentation skills

Ability to collaborate with others and establish working relationships

Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

This role is WAH/Flex, which allows most work to be performed at home. WAH/Flex employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 if they choose to come onsite or if required to periodically come on site.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $56,200 - $93,600, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
