ICF Freelance Social Media Manager in Brussels, Belgium

Description

ICF Next is one of the leading integrated communication agencies in Europe, specialising in large-scale campaigns across the European Union. We are looking for a creative and dynamic team player to fill the position of Freelance Social Media Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with users of social media platforms to respond to their questions and suggestions in line with corporate objectives and priorities.

  • Help to build, grow and manage online communities.

  • Ensure continuous participation in online conversations and act as community manager.

  • Use analytics tools to monitor social media outlets, online forums and blogs.

  • Organise social media live events.

  • Create or gather of content – involving multiple departments – for distribution on various social media sites.

  • Identify of threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the Contracting Authority’s brand.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (web, audiovisual) to design and implement social media measurement strategies across social media platforms.

  • Advise on short-term and long-term KPIs for social media advertising (both paid and organic).

  • Set up, implementing and optimising social media advertising campaigns.

  • Gather social media data, using the analytics tools provided.

  • Provide both regular and ad hoc reporting, analysis, and insights around social media trends and behaviour, sentiment analysis, social media advertising trends and opportunities, and social media campaign performance.

  • Monitor of social media performance.

  • Write and edit suitable content for social media.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Social Media Manager.

  • Proven knowledge of a range of social media platforms, their audiences and working methods.

  • Ability to establish and maintain communities on social media and engage in a relatable but diplomatic way.

  • Creativity, supported by evidence of original strategies and content.

  • Ability to autonomously research content, excellent writing skills and proven ability to translate difficult policy language into understandable content for social media audiences.

  • Ability to interpret multiple data sources to find and tell the story behind the numbers.

  • Experience with social analytics tools and/or reporting.

  • Experience with social media advertising tools.

  • Ability to communicate results to stakeholders English Language- C1 Level.

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

Professional Skills:

  • French or German Language skills- C2 Level preferred

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.

  • Flexibility and adaptability.

  • Impeccable work ethics and solution orientation.

  • Good communication skills.
