Salary Range : $77,100 - $115,700 Annual

Optavise, a CNO Financial Group Company, is hiring a Client Services Implementation Consultant to manage both client and internal teams through implementation of Optavise’s services, including personalized benefits education and enrollment, advocacy and transparency, strategic communications, and benefits administration technology. As the main contact for Optavise’s most complex implementation projects, Client Services Implementation Consultants build strong relationships with external stakeholders by managing high value project plans, maintaining regularly recurring meetings, aligning on near- and long-term client strategy, as well immediate operational deliverables. Client Services Consultants apply their expertise to improve Optavise implementations and train/mentor newer Client Services team members.

As a Client Services Implementation Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Own primary accountability for project deliverables and client satisfaction of Optavise implementations for large, complex, and multi-solution projects.

  • Create and manage project plans, including deliverables, tasks, milestones, resources, and timeline.

  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for clients, responding to questions and ensuring completion of Optavise deliverables. Anticipate and prevent issues through proactive client expectation and workload management. Provide best practice guidance and consultative feedback to clients.

  • Understand the Statement of Work and ensure Optavise delivery aligns with contract. Manage project scope and work closely with Account Manager when changes to project scope are required.

  • Lead regular client and internal implementation meetings for discovery, planning and project status purposes. Organize and manage client working sessions as needed to complete discovery and requirement gathering phases of a project or facilitate agreement on open issues. Identify, understand and work through roadblocks to adoption as well as short term and long-term solutions.

  • Manage multiple internal workstreams in a matrixed environment to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and meeting client requirements. Serve as the primary escalation point for internal project teams on client services. Foster communication to manage and resolve internal service expectations, updating all stakeholders of project timelines and deliverables.

  • Serve as the main point of contact from the Client for any escalations and/or service delivery problems.

  • Monitor and report on KPIs to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Partner closely with Account Manager to drive client satisfaction, retention, reference-ability, and identify opportunities for growth.

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Optavise solutions and best practices. Provide expertise in core Optavise Services areas including benefits administration, personalized benefits education, comprehensive benefits advocacy, and strategic communications.

  • Train and mentor less experienced Client Services team members on Optavise solutions, materials and expectations, and through complex situations.

  • Contribute to best practices and internal initiatives to improve Optavise Services (supporting the Operations leadership team). Participate in internal projects in support of operational and strategic goals, including proactively seeking ways to improve efficiencies.

The Client Services Implementation Consultant position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Demonstrate strong project management skills in employee benefits and technology-focused

  • Deliver on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt quickly to changing or competing priorities.

  • Build or reset client and team relationships in a positive manner.

  • Collaborate effectively both with internal and client resources to identify problems and provide solutions.

  • Communicate professionally in writing an in-person.

  • Show strong technical aptitude: ability to learn and proficiently use internal systems that support the role.

  • Work with large amounts of data in a detail oriented way.

  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Persuade, influence and negotiate effectively

  • Travel may be required, especially during the fourth calendar quarter of the year. Typically, less than 10%.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of related professional experience

  • 5 years of client or project management experience

  • 3 years of experience managing multiple simultaneous projects or clients

  • 5 years of employee benefits technology experience

What will set you apart:

  • 7+ years of client or project management experience

  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple simultaneous projects or clients

  • 3+ years of experience managing cross functional, virtual project teams in a matrixed reporting environment

  • 2+ serving as primary point of client contact for complex implementations involving multiple internal and external stakeholders

  • 5+ years of employee benefits technology experience

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM

Associates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Orlando and Milwaukee) may perform this role full-time work from home (WFH) from any US based location, as long as you are willing to work central or eastern time zone hours.

All associates may be asked to travel to varying corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
