Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contract Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get to perform contract administration assignments for projects with constructed values typically in the $20 to $50 million range, predominantly with domestic clients.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provides Contract Administration assignments for projects in the $1M to $50M.
Applies experience and increasing proficiency in the use of contract administration principles and best practices.
Reviews client contracts of all types to identify risks and conformity with company policy.
Drafts contracts for Architecture/Engineering, Engineering and Construction Management projects.
Proposes alternative language and clauses to client contracts based on sound contracting approaches.
Participates as member of the negotiating team, assuming responsibility for explaining positions and resolving matters of a business nature related to the proposed contract.
Monitors and administers the business provisions of contracts to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Collaborates with colleagues across organizational lines to obtain and transmit business information necessary for the project.
Support development of contract and task order proposals, including managing contract workflow and official record keeping.
Prepares letters to client advising of critical contract information, interpretations and requesting approvals.
Collaborates cross-functionally with procurement, finance, project controls, operations and others to ensure alignment on meeting contract requirements.
Monitors project expenditures versus contract cost and funding limitations, and prepare and submit client notification letters as required.
Identifies and recommends solutions to contract problems.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
3+ years of contract administration experience
Requires a working knowledge of industry business practices and contract administration principles, as well as some exposure to contract negotiations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Defense Supplement to FAR.
Candidate must also possess strong written and oral communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration
Ability to obtain a US DoD Security Clearance

Salary Range:
$61,200.00 - $107,100.00
