Programs Manager-Part Time

The Spirit of You LLC is a contracted partner of the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) in Washington State, with a primary objective of providing direct client support services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities who rely on state disability support. Our services are available in Cowlitz, King, Lewis, and Thurston counties, offering Community Engagement, Specialized Habilitation, and Respite in The Community. Our primary focus is to enable individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. YOUR ROLE:

As the Programs Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the efficient functioning of our office and remote operations. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and streamline general administrative duties and office procedures. Creating and maintaining an amicable work environment, guaranteeing communication, organizational effectiveness, and safety are also significant responsibilities. Programs Manager will be building a caseload, increasing their salary as clients are obtained. Programs Manager must reside in Cowlitz, King, Lewis or Thurston county.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:

  • Must have at least one year experience working with disabled individual(s)
  • Must have Washington State Drivers License
  • Must have a vehicle
  • Must have proof of current and active car insurance
  • Must have BA, MA or Doctoral degree in psychology, sociology, social work, education, child development, certified life skills coach
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • A minimum of one year of experience with working with individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks/bookkeeping

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Computer skills: proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, working with PDF's.
  • Interpersonal skills: must be able to lead a team and manage those relationships.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills: working with budgets, converting quarter hours to hours to determine units needed.
  • General knowledge of intellectual disabilities.
  • Strong organizational, time management, prioritization, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with system implementation.
  • Experience working with vendors & requesting quotes for new vendors as business needs require.
  • Familiarity with Google-based systems.
  • Must be able to go to the Chehalis Post Office to check mail every other day.

  • A minimum of one year of experience with working with individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities.
  • A creative mind with the ability to suggest improvements and can think "out of the box"
  • Loves organizing and planning in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to multitask and prioritize work
  • Not afraid to work with your hands (e.g. building office furniture and or moving box)
