Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Senior Manager, Business Development to join our Hyatt Studios Team where you’ll join a team of fifteen field professionals who love what they do. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader Commercial Services Team where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Role

We are seeking a self-motivated Sales Professional who is an expert in driving high-value revenue to directly impact Hyatt Studios Hotels, specializing in driving greater long-term guest stays to support the success of the brand launch. This will be accomplished through collaboration with Hyatt Sales Force and Field Sales to grow current customer relationships while also uncovering new high-value business opportunities not currently managed by Hyatt today to increase Hyatt’s share of wallet. Understanding key demand generators that drive business to new Hyatt Studios Markets to achieve quicker RAMP, building B2B customer relationships to drive greater long-term/extended stay business for Hyatt as a whole, and ability to collaborate with Franchise Owners/Operators will be the core tenants of this role.

Position Responsibilities:

•Ability to uncover and manage own account portfolio of key revenue generation opportunities within the Americas region, developing relationships directly with customers to grow Hyatt's share of wallet

•Acquire new business opportunities that directly impact Hyatt Studios Markets to impact quicker ramp to fair market share and sustained market share performance

•Ability to uncover new business opportunities that are currently not managed by the Hyatt Sales Force, Field Sales, and/or currently not utilizing Hyatt Select Service Brands

•Act as a conduit between Hyatt Corporate and Hyatt Studios Owners, Operators, and hotel leaders to execute revenue generation initiatives and proactive sales opportunities

•Expert use of Market analytics tools to research potential acquisition accounts for Hyatt, hyper-focused on longer stays, including group, transient, and leisure segments

•Solicitation & qualification of new accounts to meet/exceed leads-generated goals, revenue goals, and/or quota goals through market analysis, direct solicitation through telephone calls, digital communications, or outside calls

•Collaboration across multiple departments to evolve and scale efforts including, but not limited to; Hyatt Sales Force, Revenue Management, Marketing, Loyalty, Operations, Openings, and Learning Teams to support Revenue and Net room growth goals

•Brand representative of Hyatt Studios and Hyatt Corporate at Industry Events to create brand awareness and build customer relationships

•Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt's core values

Qualifications:

Experience Required:

•Minimum 5 years of sales experience required

•Hospitality experience, working with extended stay select-service or long-term accommodations preferred

•Self-starter, strong sales knowledge of extended stay segment, across transient, group, and leisure.

•Experience with multiple hotels and/or multiple brands, extended stay brand hotels, temporary accommodation providers, or other third-party organizations within travel/hospitality is a plus

•Strong sales knowledge of government, medical, and leisure segments preferred

•Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Sales, or Business

Computer Skills

•Efficient with computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

•Envision, TravelClick Suite, Salesforce.com, and CVENT Transient RFP proficiency

Additional Comments and Requirements

•Ability to travel primarily in the region, approximately 25-50%

•Outstanding time management, building customer relationships, and problem-solving skills

•Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and displays agile work ethic

•Highly self-motivated and directed with the ability to execute tasks based on changing market conditions
