Details: A REMOTE Principle Full Stack Web Developer job is currently available at Belcan. This is a direct, full-time position with benefits supporting one of our key aviation clients. To be considered for this role, you will have a bachelor's degree, and a minimum of fifteen years of relevant experience. In this role you will create and maintain full stack web software applications using the latest technologies for front-end GUI's, back-end APIs, and cloud infrastructures for users of a large aero-space organization. Create Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) Jobs to extract data from source systems, transform the data with business logic, and load materialized-data-views into local databases for fast retrieval. Interface directly with internal customers during the full software product development life cycle to assess their pain points, discuss software needs, brainstorm solutions, create prototypes, gather feedback, and continuously improve software. Actively seek-out internal customer feedback on a continuous basis. This position will put all your skills to use in a rewarding and highly impactful way. Job Duties: *Web Software Development *Cloud Infrastructure Management *Hierarchical Data Management *Team Collaboration Required Qualifications: *Computer Science Degree or similar related field * A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience *Front-End - Experience in UX/UI design and data visualization and talent in presenting lots of hierarchical data in a clear & concise manner. *Back-End - Experience writing servers & API's with node.js and/or another server-side web framework. *Back-End - Experience writing complex SQL database queries with many joins in highly normalized databases. *DevOps - Experience deploying websites to a variety of different cloud infrastructure. *Version Control - Experience working in distributed teams using a platform such as GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, etc. * Due to the nature of the work performed, US Citizenship is required Preferred Qualifications & Skills: *Passion for presenting complicated data sets in simple and easy-to-understand ways. *DevOps - Experience in deploying applications on a variety of different types of cloud infrastructure (i.e. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) *Big data - Experience working with big data in large enterprise with a Lambda or Kappa architecture. *Experience working with inventory control / MRP Software *Agile/Lean/Twelve-Factor/Extreme-Programming/TDD software experience *Domain experience in manufacturing, operations & logistics, mechanical engineering, and/or aerospace/rocket/propulsion engineering *Python experience: - Working with a python web framework such as flask, FastAPI, Starlet, Django, Pandas, PyTorch, Tensorflow etc We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $190,000-$230,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
