This involves close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams, conducting assessments and audits, developing improvement plans, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Strong technical, analytical, and project management skills are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: *Ensure suppliers meet organizational requirements and expectations. *Assess and improve supplier readiness during product development and production lifecycle. *Collaborate with suppliers, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive supplier readiness. *Utilize expertise in supplier development, product qualification, and project management to identify and mitigate risks, improve supplier capabilities, and ensure high-quality product delivery. *Conduct regular supplier capability and capacity assessments, audits, and risk assessments to evaluate performance, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement. *Develop and implement supplier development plans to enhance capabilities and ensure compliance with quality standards, delivery schedules, and cost targets. *Coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain effective communication and alignment between suppliers and internal stakeholders. *Monitor and track supplier performance metrics, analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks. *Drive supplier accountability and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. *Provide technical guidance and support to suppliers to resolve issues and improve processes. *Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders. Qualifications: *Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field. *Expertise in supplier development, product qualification, and project management. *Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders. *Excellent analytical skills for evaluating supplier performance and identifying areas for improvement. *Ability to develop and implement supplier development plans. *Strong communication and coordination skills to ensure effective alignment between suppliers and internal stakeholders. *Experience with conducting supplier capability assessments, audits, and risk assessments. *Technical proficiency to provide guidance and support to suppliers. *US citizenship required due to the nature of the work. Preferred: *Project Management Certification (PMP) is advantageous but not mandatory. * Local to and ability to commute within Phoenix, AZ area.
