Reference #: 2921065 Description The Junior Data Solutions Specialist will join our data management team. This position will include data analysis, robotic process automation (RPA) development, and data engineering. Working with the Data Management team and various stakeholders, this entry-level position is designed to support our data-driven decision-making processes, automate workflows, and maintain our data infrastructure. Below is a list of essential job functions for the position; however, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary. Assist in collecting, processing, and analyzing datasets to generate insights. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau. Collaborate with senior analysts and business units to understand data needs. Support the design, development, and maintenance of RPA solutions to automate tasks. Work with team members to identify automation opportunities and streamline processes. Monitor and troubleshoot RPA bots under supervision. Assist in designing and implementing data pipelines for data integration and transformation. Manage and optimize databases and data storage solutions. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data sources. DATA MANAGEMENT, USER SUPPORT, AND PRIORITIZATION Respond to and provide first contact support of incoming requests and ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end-user needs. In conjunction with data owners, team leaders, and other subject matter experts, develop effective data models, protocols, and processes for using enterprise information assets. Assist in prioritization and development of data management policies, procedures, and documentation. COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION Collaborate with co-workers on projects and other internal customer needs as appropriate. Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, end users, and leadership as needed. Seek opportunities to support volunteerism in the local community's awareness events, increase the Bank's outreach and foster new community connections. KNOWLEDGE AND CURIOSITY Display drive and curiosity to understand end-user processes and network with business area subject matter experts to best understand the needs and issues that generate new requests, interactions, or enhancements. Expand technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies around applicable business systems and applications. Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization. The Junior Data Solutions Specialist will have the chance to learn from experienced team members, participate in projects, and contribute to strategic initiatives within the organization. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job requirement satisfactorily and possess the skills inventory listed in this document. A College degree in the field of Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with SQL, Python, or other programming languages, and a basic understanding of RPA tools such as UiPath, MS Power tools, or other software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with good communication and collaboration abilities, are essential. Experience with Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools are a plus. Preferred skills include exposure to cloud platforms like Snowflake, Azure, or AWS knowledge of data governance and compliance standards, and an interest in machine learning and advanced analytics techniques. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups. Ability to communicate to clients and to build relationships at all levels in the organization effectively. TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Working knowledge of data modeling tools such as SQL, Crystal, Power BI, Tableau, etc. Project management experience. Strong familiarity with data preparation, processing, classification, and/or forecasting. Ability to present technical ideas in user-friendly language. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position operates in a professional office environment with considerable time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Noise level is moderate with constant communication and interactions with others. Ability to travel on occasion to all market areas and attend seminars or training sessions offsite.
