Position Description:

As a key member of the Workforce Analytics team in Human Resources (HR), you will partner with our Centers of HR Excellence, particularly recruiting and learning and development to further enable our analytics-driven decision-making culture. In addition to setting the forward analytics strategies for recruiting, learning, and leadership, this role defines new research projects, partners with senior leaders to understand trends, tell compelling data-driven stories, and ensure that end users are able to use well-designed tools to enable their own decision-making.

The successful candidate can expect that their typical day will consist of working with our heads of recruiting, learning, and leadership to help drive their decisions through research and user-centric tools. They will also work across the HR data science team as well as the entire workforce analytics team to conduct research, short-term analyses, and create compelling stories based on evidence. This role requires the successful individual to deeply listen and understand organizational needs, suggest research or off-the-shelf internal analytics products to address needs, and manage a book of work that will result in meaningful change for the organization they cover. This role will also work deeply with HR Operations, Privacy, Legal, D&I, and works councils on new methods and projects. Ultimately, this work furthers the company mission to, “… discover, develop and provide innovative products and services that save and improve lives around the world.”

Position Qualifications :

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Masters degree from an accredited institution in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Statistics, Economics, Organizational Behavior, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or another related field

  • PhD degree is a plus

Required Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 6 years of work experience in a data-driven consulting role (internal or external) with a social science dimension

  • Experience working in a Human Resources function, an HR analytical function, or similar social science focused role

  • Hands-on capability in scripting (R or Python)

  • Demonstrated ability to create recommendations based on analytical research and evidence

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct independent analyses and business summaries of findings

  • Successful track record in stakeholder management, linkage of analytics to business impact, and executive influencing through analytics

  • Ability to create data-driven narratives, present findings and influence others on human capital topics (including the ability to tell stories through visualized data)

  • Understanding of statistical techniques used in a social science setting, with an ability to produce assets when needed in Python, R, advanced Excel, etc.

  • Collaborative workstyle in a deeply team-oriented, global, asynchronous working team

  • High degree of initiative and creativity

  • An interest in working on projects that focus on employees and Human Resource Management

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Domain expertise or thought leadership in talent, diversity & inclusion strategies, and analytics

  • Understanding of HR processes, information systems, and governance

  • Experience with Workday reporting, Visier, Spotfire / Power BI, Glint, Tableau
