Job Description SummaryEnsures on-time and on-budget completion of multiple modeling and analysis projects being carried out by various analytical engineers and teams related to Virtualization. Oversees project work, training, development, and performance. Manages workflow in WorkOtter. Coordinates physical testing and test part procurement as required for virtualization activities.

Job Description Project Planning and Initiation: Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop project plans, including work breakdown structures, schedules, and resource allocation. Identify project risks, constraints, and dependencies and develop mitigation strategies. Obtain necessary approvals and secure required resources for project execution. * Project Execution and Monitoring: Lead cross-functional engineering teams and ensure effective communication and collaboration. Monitor project progress against the established plan, ensuring milestones are achieved. Track project budget, expenditures, and resource utilization, and take corrective actions as necessary. Identify and resolve project-related issues, conflicts, and bottlenecks in a timely manner. Conduct regular project status meetings, provide progress reports, and update stakeholders. * Quality Assurance and Compliance: Establish and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and quality control procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, codes, and safety standards. Conduct inspections, reviews, and audits to verify adherence to specifications and requirements. Coordinate with the quality assurance team to implement testing and inspection protocols. * Stakeholder Management: Identify project stakeholders and establish effective communication channels. Manage stakeholder expectations and address their concerns throughout the project lifecycle. Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams. Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, including senior management. * Change Management: Evaluate and manage change requests, assessing their impact on project scope, schedule, and budget. Implement change management processes to ensure smooth integration of changes. Communicate changes and their implications to relevant stakeholders. * Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and meeting minutes. Prepare comprehensive project reports, including lessons learned and post-project evaluations. Ensure proper archiving and knowledge transfer of project documentation.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (advanced degree preferred). Proven experience as an Engineering Project Manager or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of engineering principles and project management methodologies. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
