Essentia Health Finance Decision Support Clinical Analyst - II or Senior (Remote) in Duluth, Minnesota

Job Description:

Position performs duties relating to data collection, analysis, and reporting of various clinical, quality and financial information. Primary responsibilities include: • collaborating with management regarding financial and clinical analysis • designing and generating standardized and financial patient level reports and analyzing related data • performing trend analysis on data, developing and maintaining portions of clinic information structure in multiple systems. We are open to candidates at the Clinical Analyst II or Senior level based on experience. As a senior role, this position is expected to serve the organization as technical and subject matter expert for areas in which they work. Senior roles work with a high level of independence and are expected to: • provide input and guidance to other members of the Finance team • lead projects • develop and implement new methodologies • make recommendations to improve both the business and processes within the Finance team • lead and work on highly complex projects with large degrees of risk and scope • serve as a project manager • contribute to the team by serving the organization as technical and subject matter expert

Education Qualifications:

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management, Finance or related field.

Experience Requirements:5 years experience working in healthcare working with clinical, quality, financial systems

Preferred Certifications include:

  • RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator)

  • CHDA (Certified Health Data Analyst)

  • HFMA (Healthcare Financial Management Association)

  • Other related certifications

$57262 - $85883 / year

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
