Ryder System Financial Specialist- REMOTE in Helena, Montana

Summary

Under the responsibility of the Finance Manager, the Financial Specialist is responsible for preparing and processing invoices, financial documents and reports, tracking, entering data, and reconciling errors.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare/Audit invoice data for accuracy and timely invoicing processing

  • Provide timely, relevant and accurate weekly financial and accounting reporting.

  • Process transactions using financial systems, journals, queries as well as reporting tools and analytical methods to monitor and reconcile transactions.

  • Assist the Manager during month-end closure to ensure accurate and timely information

  • Assist in the production and preparation of financial statements, spreadsheets, reports and correspondence during month-end closure

  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies between account transactions and account balances.

  • Review and prepare regular deferred revenue, accounts receivable and other balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Review accounts payable sub-ledger entries and accruals information.

  • Assist with budget planning including forecasting and analysis.

  • Be able to work under continuous pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy or similar demands

  • Advanced skill level with Excel and must be able to use the Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in business administration, finance, accounting or related field

  • Three (3) years or more in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience required

Travel

  • 1-2 times a year

Compensation Information :

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc.

Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type :

Salaried

Minimum Pay Range:

$60,000

Maximum Pay Range:

$75,000

The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
