TEKsystems Patient Assistance Counselor (Remote) in Houston, Texas
Teksystems is currently seeking experienced Patient Assistance Counselors for a remote opportunity in the healthcare space.
Requirements:
4-5 Years of Insurance Verification (Healthcare) Required
3-4 Years of Prior Authorization Required
5+ Years of Experience in Regulated Benefits Environment
3-4 Years of Call Center Experience
Strong Medical Terminology Required
Hours:
Must be open for an 8 hour shift M-F from the hours of 7AM-7PM CST.
Description:
The Patient Assistance Counselor II PAC provides support to those patients who are uninsured underinsured who have limited benefit coverage and or who have high out of pocket prescription and medical expenses which may qualify them into the Patient Assistance Program.
The PAC provides high quality customer service to both patient and healthcare providers HCPs for specialty prescription medication provided by the Patient Assistance Program.
The PAC will coordinate review of all application documents conduct insurance investigations when applicable assess patients financial information and provide an outcome status to patients and HCPs.
