Senior Capture Manager (Remote)

Senior Capture Manager is responsible for leading captures in the Readiness & Sustainment Solutions business unit that leverage capabilities and connections both internally and across industry to win new work.

Responsibilities include identifying, researching, and analyzing business opportunities, consistent with the organization's long range and strategic plans. Responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients and developing new client contacts, typically at General Manager level.

Participates in development of marketing and business plans, strategy implementation, and overseeing and controlling the business development budget and forecasts for defined area of responsibility. Serves as a liaison with KBR counterparts on cross-business unit opportunities.

Needs to thrive in an environment where they are responsible for the management and execution of the full BD life-cycle process across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals. Must be able to develop a plan for securing knowledge and understanding of the customer's requirements, issues, and needs during the pursuit and capture phases. Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices and leads white paper and RFI responses.

Plan and participate in capture activities, to include identifying opportunities, lead competitive assessments, teaming, and price-to-win efforts, developing strategy, and leading solutioning sessions on capture efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years' experience in operations and Business Development in support of Federal clients'

  • Customer Engagement Experience with Federal and Civilian areas

  • Proven experience with base operations, facility O&M, and/or vehicle maintenance opportunities.

  • Proven experience leading a team to capture and winning projects in excess of $200M.

  • Experience working on opportunities in both CONUS and OCONUS environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Secret Clearance or ability to obtain.

  • Experience working classified pursuits.

  • Degree from accredited university.

  • Active participation in industry associations.
