Summary
CHS Inc., a $33B global enterprise, has an exciting opportunity within our CHS Supply Chain organization. The Director of Supply Chain & Logistics will lead a high performing team responsible for supply chain scheduling & execution for our agriculture supply chain. In addition, this leader will develop scalable business processes and supply chain standards to drive value for the organization.
This position can be remote in the United States with up to 25% travel.
Responsibilities
Responsible for developing scalable business process and supply chain service standards to deliver efficient supply chain schedules & execution process to support our manufacturing & marketing agreement locations.
Provide vision and leadership to a team of 30+ people including, managers and supervisors. Accountable for direct performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement
Jointly responsible with marketing and product line leaders in developing service level offerings by segment and creating alignment and accountability with customer service team.
Effectively collaborate with sales and product line teams, as well as other functions across CHS, including supply chain planning, logistics, warehouse operations and finance to deliver quality customer service. Manage and provide coaching and/or training to team, including coaching CHS core values, personal safety, environmental stewardship, community involvement, development of specific competencies/skills, and critical business process.
Participate in selection of direct reports and other employees; determines resource needs, plans for future workforce needs, and may independently make selection decisions.
Responsible for budgeting duties within area of scope
Minimum Qualifications (required)
High School diploma or GED
7+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement and/or Supply Chain Planning
Prior leadership experience with progressively advancing level of leadership responsibilities
Additional Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Economics, Manufacturing, Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Statistics or related field
10+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement and/or Supply Chain Planning preferred
Demonstrated experience driving change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience developing and deploying talent strategies.

CHS offers a competitive total compensation package.
Compensation: This includes base wage and may consist of other earnings depending upon position within CHS, consisting of bonuses, incentives, commissions, merit pay. This position may be an opportunity for promotion.
