CrowdStrike is looking for an Engineer II to join our growing Production Systems team. As an Engineer II, you will be fundamental in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data. The candidate will be responsible for building and developing solutions that correlate data across various sources. What You'll Do:
Design and implement data pipelines to aggregate data from diverse sources (relational databases, APIs etc)
Identify and resolve discrepancies between sources and leverage automation tooling to aid in data integrity and efficiency
Develop automated quality checks and monitoring procedures to ensure data consistency
Document processes thoroughly for visibility, auditing, and maintainability.
Work with internal business partners and peers to craft elegant, robust, and reliable solutions to solve complex technical problems.
Be an energetic 'self-starter' with the ability to take ownership and be accountable for individual deliverables
Take ownership and accountability of deliverables focused on cost optimization and improving operational efficiencies
Raise the technical IQ of the team by being passionate about learning and sharing the newest technologies & tricks with others.
Deliver and accept feedback with grace and courtesy
Report regularly to leadership on the status of critical projects
What You'll Need:
Experience writing scripts/applications for for automation, tools, or dashboards with languages such as Go, Python, Perl, PHP, and/or JavaScript
Experience designing schemas and optimizing SQL queries for RDBMS such as MySQL or Postgres
A strong conceptual understanding of network and systems Infrastructure
Experience with VMware, Windows, and Linux OS architectures.
Must work effectively and professionally with cross-functional groups across divisions as part of a worldwide team
Must be able to work with a distributed team in multiple time zones.
Must exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and have the ability to make good, timely decisions.
Demonstrate self-learning capabilities, taking initiative in a fast pace/quickly changing environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Bonus Points:
High level understanding of fixed asset management and general accounting principles.
Experience with compliance frameworks (SOX, SOC2, FEDRAMP)
Experience working in a large-scale production environment and/or with bare-metal hardware
Process governance experience and or strong automation workflow knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
2-3 business related trips per year for group meetings
