Insight Global Remote Spanish Bilingual Text / Call Crisis Specialist in Knoxville, Tennessee

Job Description

An employer is looking for a highly skilled Remote Crisis Text / Chat Specialist to join one of our largest national clients. In this role you'll join a growing team, and respond to texts and calls from individuals calling into a 988 hotline / text service who are experiencing suicidal ideation or considering self harm. There will be two weeks of training followed by a final role play to mark the end of training. This is a Spanish bilingual role, therefore you must be fluent in Spanish in order to be considered for this role. The shifts for this position are 4 am - 12 pm EST Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun, with Tues and Thurs off. They also have an opening Sun - Thurs from 12 pm - 8 pm EST with Fri and Sat off, or Thurs - Mon 12 pm - 8 pm EST with Tues and Wed off. This role pays $22/hr, however after 90 days the rate goes up to $24/hr. Usually calls that you're de escalating last around 15 minutes, but the amount of calls you'll be taking per day will vary. Counselors get two 15-minute paid breaks, and one unpaid 30 minute lunch.

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferably within the mental health field

-Fluent in Spanish, both written and verbal

-At least 1 year of experience within the mental health field

-Good Wi-Fi - WFH position

-Ability to use a personal computer with a video camera for the first 2 weeks before receiving a company laptop null
