We are looking for a passionate Backend Developer

  • Design, development, test/validating and debugging of interfaces between internal IQVIA-Kairos products and 3rd party products.

  • Extending applications in the layers of domain model, business logic, repositories, and interfaces.

  • Reading and writing of software interface specifications.

  • Software consulting regarding the developed products in national and international projects, mostly EMEA region.

  • Design and development of new REST APIS, maintaining existing APIs. Deep understanding of the HTTP protocol and its usage within REST APIs is necessary.

  • Managing Multi module projects with Maven

  • Writing and optimization of SQL queries for Postgres, Oracle, MSSQL server

  • Writing Unit and Integration tests based on Junit and Mockito

Primary Skills:

  • Strong Java coding skills

  • Experience with Spring framework (dependency injection, transaction management)

  • Junit, Mockito

  • String SQL skills

  • IntelliJ

  • Git (Bitbucket/GitHub/GitLab)

  • Maven

  • HTTP, REST

  • Good German language skills and strong communication abilities complete your profile.

Good to have skills:

  • JPA/Hibernate, MSSQL-Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Databricks, Windows Server

  • Experience with integrating applications to auth protocols like OAuth2 or OIDC

Skill Flexibility:

  • Knowledge of specific health care protocols like FHIR, HL7, XML/XSD, IHE

  • Configuration experience with Azure Services, Linux Server, Docker

  • Experience with developing search capabilities backed by elasticsearch or opensearch

  • Experience with developing user interfaces with the frameworks Vaadin or React

  • Groovy scripting / Groovy DSL design

  • Experience with integrating applications to auth protocols like SAML2, Kerberos, Active directory

  • Experience with design and development of GraphQL APIs
