This role will be responsible for the planning and execution of paid search campaigns for the Government Programs E&I team. Working closely with internal partners this role will execute the approved strategy, campaign set up, campaign optimization and reporting of B2B and B2C digital marketing campaigns. Applicants must have hands-on paid search experience to be considered, having worked in either client or agency roles previously.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist digital team with the development of paid search campaign strategy

  • Manage daily campaign optimization, testing, tracking and performance measurement

  • Management of programs to ensure campaigns are optimally structured, setup, pacing and are tracking correctly

  • Oversee creative development and approval process

  • Develop reporting and key insights on campaign performance

  • Evaluate and improve internal paid search processes to support strategic planning and implementation e.g. engine billing, reporting

  • Ability to present results and derive insights and actions based on performance

Skills and Experience

  • Passion for paid search with an understanding of the complexity of the digital advertising landscape

  • Constantly learning about the ever-changing digital ecosystem - with a willingness to test new tools and technologies

  • Passionate about results, achieving goals and communicating successes

  • Demonstrated ability to work within tight time constraints, providing near real-time insights to team members to ensure targets are achieved

  • Highly analytical with advanced problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail

  • Experience in managing complex media projects across multiple stakeholder groups

  • Understanding of digital direct-response marketing tactics and best practices

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on paid search experience in either client or agency roles

  • Experience actively managing multi-million dollar paid search programs

  • Experience managing B2B accounts with understanding of B2B audience activations

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics

  • Experience with LiveRamp

  • Advanced understanding of paid search tactics and measurement, specializing in lead generation utilizing both 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd party data sources

  • Advanced knowledge of bid management platforms e.g. Search Ads 360

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Advanced PowerPoint skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B2B, Financial services, insurance or technology experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
