Description Information Technology Services at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for an ERP Business Analyst. About the Opportunity: As an ITS WVU BA, you will participate in initial project assessments, plans, and estimates. Throughout your day, you will utilize standards in the delivery of plans, designs, program modification, testing and installation of project work. Each step of the way, you will work along with technical and functional team members, recommending design/system alternatives or approaches to WVU's systems requirements. You will be part of the development process within the operations group; however, you will work independently and take ownership of projects while consulting with other team members for guidance and support as needed. Wellness programs What You'll Do: Participate in initial project assessments, plans, and estimates. Utilize standards in the delivery of plans, designs, program modification, testing and installation of project work. Recommend design/system alternatives or approaches to WVU's systems requirements. Effectively utilize technical/application analytical skills in the documentation of requirements, process flows, use cases, system design, technical specifications, test cases, system setups, policies and procedures, and delivery of ITS projects in accordance with WVU standards. Identify areas of application and technical weaknesses and recommend alternatives and solutions. Identify gaps and weaknesses in organizational processes or procedures and recommend solutions. Analyze and document business processes and Identify opportunities for improvement. Understand and adhere to established project management policies and procedures, including meeting project work plans, status reports, and documentation. Follow established methodology to complete project deliverables on all assigned tasks within deadlines. Understand and work toward the attainment of WVU's strategic and operational goals. Invest time and effort to continually learn and stay current on changing technology and application. Continually evaluate, research, develop, and maintain solutions using evolving methodologies to keep pace with new technologies.
