Schlumberger Early Careers - Remote Engineer in Multi-Location, Brazil

As Remote Engineer , you will be responsible for providing service excellence and high-quality products to our customers while working remotely from the wellsite in our state-of-the-art remote operations center where you will be responsible to lead the field crew and supervise wellsite operations. A role-specific development program will include theoretical and hands-on training of our technologies as well as data interpretation techniques, giving you the knowledge to succeed as an expert in your business line. By joining the remote operations team, you are leading our company to revolutionize the industry, directly contributing to the digitalization of field operations.  

Responsibilities

  • Operate downhole and surface equipment remotely from the wellsite to capture data

  • Manage field operations including engineering design, risk analysis, operation safety and operational reporting.

  • Verify the quality of data before delivering digital products to customers

  • Communicate with client representatives and rig personnel during all the phases of well construction

  • Serve as the technical expert of SLB technologies, ensuring the customer is achieving their objectives during operations.

  • Provide mentoring, training, and instructions to your field crew to ensure consistent Service Quality

Minimum qualifications & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science (Petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electronic/electrical engineering, geology or geoscience)

  • Fluency in written and spoken English (B2 or higher level)

  • 0-3 years maximum of experience in the related field (from graduation date onwards)

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Quick learner able to use logic to solve problems.

  • Be personally committed to continuous improvement.

  • Evidence of leadership and teamwork skills
