Technical Portfolio Manager

The Technical Portfolio Manager (TPM) is a strategic leader within the IT Project Management Office (PMO), orchestrating a portfolio of high-impact technology initiatives that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of technology projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic objectives.

  • Build trusted relationships with BU leaders to understand their objectives and challenges.

  • Establish consistent governance processes, including performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of project managers, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth.

  • Prepare and present executive-level summaries and IT Steering Committee (ITSC) content.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years in IT project/program management with 5+ years in portfolio or strategic leadership roles.

  • Deep knowledge of project/portfolio management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).

  • Strong proficiency in portfolio management tools (e.g., ServiceNow SPM, Smartsheet, ADO).

  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.

  • Experience with organizational change management and process optimization.

This virtual role can be located anywhere in the United States of America. Candidates must be available to work Eastern Standard (EST) time zone hours as required for business needs and be able to travel up to 10%.
