AECOM Director of Occupational Health (Telehealth) - Remote in Orlando, Florida

Job Summary

AECOM'S operations have been declared essential so we are continuing to operate and are looking to fill business-critical roles at this time. We currently seeking a full-time, remote Director of Occupational Health .

This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the US.

The Director of Occupational Health is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily telehealth clinical operations for the company. Maintaining working relationships with the internal and external customers to ensure that the care provided to these employees is appropriate, expedient and timely. Coordinating communications between the clinic, the AECOM appointed medical director, the occupational health staff, employees and the AECOM leadership team is critical. The Director is responsible for approving appropriate policies and procedures for the nursing staff and managing department function within a broader corporate function.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Current RN license and CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Positive telephone interaction skills to identify problems and focus conversation for goal directed and time limited conversation

  • Ability to effectively interact with various internal stakeholders and other designated personnel for proper initiation and follow-up of possible work-related injuries and illnesses

  • Strong listening, written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to maintain business etiquette through emails, telephone conversations and in meeting environments

  • Strong computer skills including being proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel and Power Point

  • Technical adept to utilize systems software in efficient and effective manner

  • Ability to motivate staff to ensure the success of a professional, efficient and effective telehealth program

  • Strong organization and prioritization skills while being responsible for the vision and strategic planning necessary to provide the organization with the best integrated occupational health services available for the company

  • Ability to encourage and foster a team environment

  • Self-motivated and self-directed with strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in fast paced environment, use own initiative, effectively multi-task and prioritize

  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude, self-motivated professional

  • Telephonic case management experience

  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse (OHN)

  • Certified Case Manager (CCM)

  • BSN highly preferred

  • This position does not include sponsorship for United States Work Authorization
