ARAMARK Culinary Mobilization Manager - Healthcare+ - Remote in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Description

Manager of Culinary Mobilization is responsible for transitioning programs from self op or competitor business to Aramark standards and programs. They will ensure full implementation of Aramark?s standards, programs, procedures, and policies to include menus, recipes, and standards for procurement, storage, production, distribution, service.

They will be accountable for the success, effectiveness, on-time delivery, and business outcomes of the culinary program transition for all points of service, including patient, retail, and catering.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform healthcare account mobilization duties for culinary. Align program sold to implementation plan.

  • Work in partnership with all stakeholders for culinary, tailoring an opening plan as needed, ensuring successful account opening.

  • Provides hands-on support during mobilization planning period, ?go live? and throughout the 30, 60, 90-day window.

  • Ensure full implementation of Aramark?s standards, procedures and policies to include menus, recipes, and standards for procurement, storage, production, distribution, service.

  • Throughout ensure regulatory requirements and industry standards are met.

  • Work with identified operations team to manage a practical mobilization plan and handoff of mobilization in a simple, rigorous, and measurable manner. Ensure appropriate documentation is completed.

  • Enable delivery with speed and agility by clearly understanding all challenges and opportunities.

  • Identify and perform trainings as needed.

  • Exhibit creativity to solve for presented challenges regarding program implementation. Provide troubleshooting.

  • Enable identification, resolution, and potential escalation of issues and mid-course correction/revision of plans.

  • Validate the expected plan execution and outcomes as defined/desired by Client/Aramark.

  • Identify and manage risks that may impede the plan success. Quickly manage up unexpected or unresolved concerns throughout.

  • Continually bring perspective based on input/feedback and identify ways to improve effectiveness/efficiency while simultaneously leveraging effective practices.

  • Foster support and relationships by developing a strong level of trust and credibility with all stakeholders; act as an operator advocate throughout the process.

  • Utilize deliberate influence strategies to impact, shape, or re-direct the behaviors of others without formal authority.

  • Translate and communicate information, implications, and recommendations using clear written and verbal skills appropriately with a diverse audience.

  • Leverage subject matter expertise to proactively expedite task actions.

  • As priorities shift, allocate time to support other culinary initiatives including special projects, focus accounts, region and LOB specific priorities, region culinarians, retention, remediation, and pursuits.

  • Work collaboratively with the Mobilization team resources and provide expertise to guide decisions within functional workstreams.

  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of menu programs and standards to include use of KIL, recipes, menus, PRIMA, GFF, Enable, MarketPro, Working knowledge of Aramark's production systems technology

  • Demonstrate accountability for the proper use of patients? protected health information.

  • Ability to manage the floor as Executive Chef, leading the culinary team through training, change management, production skills, inventory, purchasing, technology, PRIMA, finance.

  • Demonstrate ability to plan, design and implement a strategic plan

  • Knowledge of modern foodservice administration, principles, and practices within a healthcare environment.

  • Knowledge of regulatory agency standards including CMS, TJC, DNV, etc.

  • Knowledge of word processing, and spreadsheet software.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in written, verbal, and electronic formats with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to generate ideas and think creatively.

  • Ability to monitor and maintain financial goals.

  • Ability to function independently and work without immediate supervision.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously demonstrating project management capabilities

  • Skilled in delivering presentations to small and large groups.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Willing to travel more than 75% of the time

  • Willing to work ten days on and four day off rotations

Education/Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations. Multi-site responsibilities preferred. Experience with successful account site activation preferred.
