Ballard Spahr LLP Systems Administrator - Hybrid/Remote to Philadelphia in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Ballard Spahr LLP has an immediate opening for an experienced Systems Administrator who will be responsible for the ongoing 2nd level technical support and daily maintenance of the Firm’s infrastructure. This includes servers, remote access, backup and HA, and networking systems as well as providing support on client/server based applications. The selected individual will have demonstrated technology skills including software applications. This position reports to the Manager of Systems Administration and is located in our Philadelphia office.
The selected individual will be self-motivated with strong customer service and multitasking skills without loss of efficiency or accuracy, exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational and problem solving skills and a high degree of initiative. Solid communication skills and the ability to work independently, set priorities and manage multiple deadlines are essential.
Requirements include 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in the IT field or an Associates/computer-related technical degree and 3 years of relevant experience; advanced knowledge of computer hardware and network infrastructure; advanced working knowledge of multi-site Windows Server environments and VMware ESXi on SAN storage. Familiarity with Citrix, Web Proxy, Direct Access, Document Management and Two Factor Authentication and Storage Area Network (SAN), Network Addressed Storage (NAS) concepts. Ability to work beyond the standard scheduled hours, as needed.
