ProgenyHealth Clinical Informatics Analyst (Remote) in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania
ProgenyHealth is a leading provider of care management solutions for maternal and infant populations. We partner with health plans and their obstetric, perinatal, and neonatal providers to work collaboratively in developing a plan of care specific to the needs of each member/family – from prenatal care to delivery to admission to the intensive care nursery until they are safely transitioned from the hospital, up to the first year of an infant’s life. Job Role
As a member of the Enterprise Analytics team, the Clinical Informatics Analyst will be responsible for developing data and analytics Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) in collaboration with ProgenyHealth Stakeholders and ensuring what is documented is ultimately delivered through user acceptance testing.
The successful incumbent will have strong analytical skills and is well-versed in root cause analysis, with a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into data and analytics requirements. A person with the desire and proven acumen to proactively anticipate problems and recommend solutions, along with the necessary acumen to manage the process of innovative change effectively, will flourish in this role.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate requirement development using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process flows, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis
Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze information and functional needs
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to align business and technical solutions analyzing tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
Update permanent documentation, on a continual basis, relating to the various systems & processes affected by project work
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BSN) required
Pediatric/NICU specialty is highly desired
Intermediate Microsoft Excel hands-on experience required
5+ years of clinical informatics experience required
A solid background with an Agile development life cycle (grooming & refining, sprint reviews, sprint demos, etc.) is highly desired
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
Experience designing prototypes with Adobe XD (a plus)
Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops (a plus)
Experience using data to drive outcomes and improve business processes
Ability to work independently for long periods of time, especially when introduced with a new data analysis project
Strong communication skills due to this position being a very client facing role
Organized with a keen eye for detail
Manage multiple projects, issues, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
Able to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines
