TEKsystems Healthcare Call Center (Remote In Portland) in Portland, Oregon
Fully remote, but need to be local to the Portland, OR area to pickup equipment!
A large Healthcare Company in Beaverton, OR is hiring Member Service Specialists to join the team during Open Enrollment season!
Responsibilities:
Answer and transfer calls as necessary through our web-based phone system, around 20-50 calls during open enrollment season
Navigate between 5-10 different applications and systems
Supports individual members while on the phone with their accounts, including member eligibility, enrollment, premium billing, and delinquency, for both Direct and Exchange members.
Look up member’s accounts and answer questions about payment status, eligibility status, and premium amounts, as well as how to enroll, make changes or terminate coverage
Take payments and set up automatic recurring payments, as well as advising members how to do the same for themselves online
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED is required
1-2+ years of experience working in a customer service call center environment or related
Healthcare experience not required but is a big plus
General understanding of health insurance or healthcare is a plus
Ability to navigate through multiple systems and screens, while typing & talking simultaneously
Must have reliable internet and work from home space
