Teladoc Platform Integration Technician Tier 1 (Remote) in Purchase, New York

Position Information:

This position is 100% remote

Under the general direction of the Director of Platform Integration and Interoperability, the Platform Integration Technician will play a key role in carrying out technical implementations of servers and applications to meet project goals. A successful member executes initial root cause analyses when troubleshooting using appropriate tools and methods for gathering data, running tests and reporting results for addressing and resolving reported issues or escalating, as needed, to appropriate resources. You will work closely with customer IT departments including network and data center managers, Radiology administrators, TDH development engineers, TDH field service and sales personnel, to provide implementation and technical support of hardware and software solutions.

Additional Details About the Role:

  • Provides front line interaction with customer technical staff to execute TDH Platform implementations

  • Gathers information, runs tests, and reports results to TDH staff for analysis and problem resolution

  • Maintains database information including, but not limited to, technical information, contact information, trouble ticket/case creation and updates to drive issues to resolution

  • Clearly communicates regularly with TDH departmental and key customer contacts on progress and follows directives as determined by the Solution Services team

To Succeed in This Role You Will Need:

  • Ability to cover multiple, overlapping complex projects

  • Well organized and adaptable to changing demands

  • Excellence in written and verbal communication with IT professionals, various vendors, and core TDH team members

  • High degree of experience with PACS and in-depth knowledge of DICOM (Desired)

  • Experience with Medical Devices in Hospital settings (Desired)

  • Cisco CCNA or MSCE (Desired)

  • Experience with Service Cloud and Atlassian tools (Desired)

Educational Requirements:

  • B.S. in a technical field (Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering preferred)

  • Working knowledge of networks, firewalls, servers, and virtual environments
