CrowdLED Wristband Operator - Freelance in Remote, Netherlands

CrowdLED, the leading provider of LED bracelets and other LED gadgets for concerts and events, is seeking for enthusiastic LED wristband operators. You'll have the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, from the Eurovision Song Contest, ADE, Fashion week, and X factor to Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran. Who are we looking for? 

  • Passion for light, image and sound

  • Proven work experience as a lighting technician at live events

  • Experience with GrandMA2

  • Pre - experience with GrandMA3, HOG, Chamsys, and Avolites

  • Excellent command of the English language

  • Pre - Good command of Spanish, French, and/or German language

  • Able to work in a team as well as independently

  • Driving license B.

What will you do?

As a wristband operator, one of the primary responsibilities is to bring clients' ideas and visions to life by programming customized effects for their events. This requires a strong understanding of programming languages, as well as the ability to interpret and execute the client's requests. The ultimate goal is to deliver a stunning visual display that meets and exceeds the client's expectations.

In addition to programming, wristband operators also provide on-site support to different teams, including producers and designers. They work closely with these teams to ensure that the CrowdLED effects seamlessly integrate with the overall event production.

Furthermore, wristband operators are always thinking about ways to improve the technology, whether it's through streamlining processes or incorporating new features. The wristband operator is also responsible for building, directing, and packing the CrowdLED transmitters and consoles, ensuring that all equipment is properly set up for events around the world.
