Description: A REMOTE ​Model-Based Enterprise Senior Project Manager ​job is currently available at Belcan. This is a full-time direct position with benefits. To be considered, you will need 5+ years of professional engineering experience including 3+ years of experience as part of a digital transformation or software development team. As an MBE Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for driving a uniform technical and management approach that leverages advanced technologies using agile and/or waterfall approaches depending on customer need. You will be joining our experts on the Digital Solutions Lead Team, delivering capabilities to meet our customers' growing needs in digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

· Work will be performed remotely. Some travel to customer sites or internal meetings may be required (up to 25%).

· This MBE Senior Project Manager position will be responsible for supporting customers in the deployment of MBE practices while maintaining awareness of emerging digital engineering and consumption lifecycle software and technologies. Responsibilities include:

o Drive a uniform project management approach that leverages advanced technologies and a combination of agile and waterfall approaches for a program or a combination of related projects of moderate to substantial complexity.

o Understand customer current-state MBE authoring and validation adoption through input from Technical Leads and help shape customer short-, middle-, and long-term future state development and maturity planning.

o Ensure that the customer facing team's cost basis and schedule are correct by evaluating resource requirements and performing risk analyses.

o Ensure successful customer relationships by responding to all customer requests and serving as a critical point of contact for program activities, status and problem resolution. Responsible for the negotiation of contract changes related to scope management.

o Responsible for integrated program schedules, data integration, and tracking of key performance indicators including financial metrics and milestone completion.

o Oversees task planning on program including resource requirements and effort estimates related to program performance.

o Establishes and communicates overall priorities and changing program requirements to the client and/or to the Director of Digital Solutions.

o Experience with developing and scaling strategies, processes, plans, procedures, reporting, and handling escalations

o Works with Technical Leads to address critical issues on complex programs and to develop action plans to improve performance.

o Know the basic scope, content and layout of the project through familiarity with flowsheets, layouts, and action plans.

o Maintains professional and technical product knowledge by attending conferences or participating in professional associations.

o Develop and deliver internal and customer-facing presentations.

o Ability to concisely and effectively develop and deliver customer-facing presentations and communicate at the senior executive level of organizations

o Build and maintain discipline and morale among the members of the project team.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelors degree in a recognized field of engineering from an accredited institution, PE license, or equivalent experience

· 5+ years of experience in engineering, program management, or management consulting with a focus on program/product launches and/or validation and testing

· 3+ years experience in aerospace or aerospace adjacent industry OR with launching CAD, CAM, CAI or similar software to large, matrix organizations as part of a digital transformation or software development team

· Proficient in tools or processes required to manage complex projects (i.e. Gannt charts, risk matrix, Smartsheet, JIRA, etc.)

· In-depth knowledge and proficiency with program management processes, methodology, and architecture.

· Proficient in the use of business applications software and the ability to use specialized project management and scheduling applications

· Due to the nature of the work performed, US Citizenship is a requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Advanced Degree (MS/MBA) and/or PMP certification

· Experience with visualization solutions for complex business data ecosystems, such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.

· Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance

· Working knowledge of product life-cycle management (PLM) workflows for how engineering technical data is consumed across engineering, quality, manufacturing, and supply-chain.

· Experience with Lean & Agile practices

· Experience managing culture changes including adoption and resistance to new ways of working in a digital engineering environment

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $80,000 to $120,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
