We currently have an opportunity for a Billing Specialist. This position can be based in our Richland, WA or Boston, MA office, but we are also open to remote candidates. Responsibilities: Prepare client invoices using custom Oracle based system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Comply with customer specifications with regard to invoicing. Ensure billing deadlines are met. Support project collections Maintain contract budgets throughout life cycle of the project. Assist financial management team and project managers with ad-hoc report preparation when requested. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, previous billing experience preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and prioritize duties. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail. Independent problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to work with people at all levels and varied disciplines and cultures. Experience with US Government invoice process preferred, but not required. Oracle or other database experience is preferred, but not required. A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed. Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions. Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience. Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 hr. Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience and demonstrated work experience in the above role; skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role; geographic location; and education, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
