Additional information may be found at GP Strategies has a need for a People Team Project Manager (HR/People Management background). This is a full-time, benefitted position that will last approximately 8 - 10 months with the possibility of extension. The People Team Program Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end project management for our client's People Experience Americas team – including coordinating with the Subject Matter Experts and People Technology team. They will manage the intake and backlog process for new projects and efficiency opportunities while also driving change management for all projects implemented. What you'll do: *Partner closely with the Leadership team for People Experience Americas, to manage projects from intake to adoption *Partner closely with the other Operations team members in establishing and refining our project management infrastructure, processes, tools and techniques *Influence and drive change to ensure efficient implementation, proactive stakeholder management, budget sensitivity and delivery timelines *Define, Identify, track and manage milestones and metrics for portfolio of programs *Provide thought leadership and influence to ensure portfolio delivery meet targeted objectives and strategic goals *Prepare regular updates to ensure insights are shared and establish operational mechanisms to review progress of programs *Prepare regular updates to ensure insights are shared and establish operational mechanisms to review progress of programs *Provide change management consultation for global People Team initiatives Requirements: *Strong project/program management skills, including project definition, identifying required resources, monitoring deliverables, stakeholder management, progress reporting and tracking *Strong change management skills and experience with a strong track record of adoption *Agile and waterflow project management experience (and how to blend the two) preferred *Experience with Smartsheets (building roll ups and widgets) preferred *Experience using advanced Microsoft products such as Power Automate preferred *Work experience in, human resources or employee experience and/or demonstrated people management or leadership experience is preferred *Bachelor's degree preferred *PMP certification preferred *Change Management certification preferred To be successful in this position, you'll need the following: *Passion for our client's purpose driven nature *Excellent priority setting, planning, and organizing skills *Attention to detail *Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment delivery high levels of performance and service excellence *Creative thinking *A bias to action *Ability to thrive in an environment that at times may have ambiguity and constant change *Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to develop strong professional relationships with peers, managers, executives and cross-functional teams *Ability to use good judgment to problem solve, make decisions and involve necessary individuals at the appropriate time GP Strategies is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
