Job Description
The Senior Developer will be responsible for a lead role on the analysis, design, testing, implementation and support of Aerospace and Defense IT projects. Analyzes requirements, designs, develops and implements new solutions in an effort to align IT solutions with business initiatives. Evaluates, develops technical design specifications for existing or proposed systems and related procedures. The incumbent may also be responsible for leading mid-size projects.
Job Responsibilities
The Aerospace and Defense IT team is tasked to develop, deploy and maintain custom developed software enhancements used throughout Aramark. The Developer will also be expected to become an IT Subject Matter Expert for the Facilities applications including Maximo and related applications which are developed by external vendors and used within Aramark for critical business processes. This person will report to the IT Director and will principally support the Operations team as well as support various work streams for the Business Teams. This individual will be directly responsible for developing the software and the technical specifications which are outputs from functional requirements gathered from the business teams. This person will interact regularly with members of the field-based user community, a broader internal and remote-based development team, and have regular interactions with members of the LOB and Account Operations Teams and the Deployment team. Coordination with all the aforementioned teams is required to ensure that the system requirements are understood and implemented as planned.
Detailed Job Responsibilities
Designing, maintaining, and supporting IBM Maximo application
Supports Business Operations by implementing business rules, custom UI, and reporting
Supports traditional facilities software including a variety of CMMS support systems including data collection, .
Participating in workshops and meetings, facilitating and recording business requirements and preparing documentation.
Participate in a lead role, overseeing and on occasion managing the 3rd party development efforts.
Supporting and managing Web based and mobile based applications.
Coordination with the Maximo administrators and other members of the IT development staff to review and validate requirements and evaluate technical feasibilities
Expected to develop time estimates for new or modified work items including constraints, dependencies and other variables under the guidance of the IT team.
Coordinates with various consulting practices and assimilate needs into several on-going work streams
Developing and maintaining technical documentation on current and future state of information technology systems, applications, interfaces and processes.
Estimate and establish cost parameters for new development of software, interfaces and process improvements under the guidance of the IT team.
Will be required to work with a project manager to collapse new project items into individual or comprehensive plans.
Part time test scenario / case development and execution.
Will complete work in accordance with corporate established SDLC processes.
Maintain work tracking including current status and estimated completion date and communicate status.
Research and analyze new tools / processes that can help the team become more efficient
Participate in the code promotion and management processes
Manage the assignment and prioritization of tasks
Expected to become SME for the managed projects, performing demos, participating in Focus groups, and other required duties.
Provide support and training for end users as needed
Will be required to provide support for off hour releases as scheduled.
Working with business to implement dashboard and reporting in QlikView and/or PowerBI.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a similar discipline is required coupled with the desire to succeed in an enriching development environment
Minimum of 1 year experience in Javascript development
Minimum of 1 year experience with Maximo 7.6 or higher system development
Minimum of 1 year experience with DB2 SQL databases and technologies
Demonstrated skills in the development and maintenance of enterprise-level systems
Proficient in support of integration components & web services
Leadership in solution design and development and compliance to SDLC & enterprise standards
Demonstrated experience in collaborating with stakeholders and business process owners is a must
Experience in PowerBI or related reporting tools a plus
Experience with creation and maintenance of functional and/or technical specifications is required
Experience with change control processes, code migration and management tools is required (ITG, DevOps, etc.)
Experience with Testing Tool Suites (Microsoft, Quality Center, Telerik, etc..) a plus
Creative and flexible in attitude and style to adapt to new situations in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment
Strong oral and written communications skills
Proficient in SQL querying to provide analytic support.

COMPENSATION: The salary rate for this position ranges from $85,000 to $115,000 depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
