Position

The Regional Sales Manager builds and manages all aspects of sales inclusive of account management, business analytics, and channel development for a specific US region. S/He drives growth by investing in the development of critical influencers within the value chain and by building sustainable relationships with key distributors. The Regional Sales Manager also works closely with the following departments: Customer Support, Finance, Marketing, and other sales teams for the purpose of ensuring the delivery of first-class delivery experience.

The ideal candidate is proactive, results oriented with a passion for training, education and helping customers achieve their goals. You are interested in the “science” and are fact-based individual with a sound technical acumen who strives to be viewed as a subject matter expert by your customers. You use good judgement and are accountable with honest, transparent and authentic communications with your customers and colleagues.

Accountabilities

  • 10% of your Time will be focused on providing accurate forecasts and maintaining your account and activity records within the CRM (SFDC)

  • 30% of your time will be accountable for ensuring satisfaction/developing the existing distribution network within the region

  • 60 % will be focused on business development, prospecting, training and developing the key influencers within the region

Qualifications

  • 5 years’ experience in a complex fast paced business environment, preferably as a Sales manager

  • Experience in Residential Water Treatment, Well Drilling, Hydrogeology, Microbiology considered an asset

  • Ability to build trust with a large and diverse environment - approachable and able to form long lasting relationships with others on behalf of the business

  • Proven track record in sales conversion success and performance

  • Highly proficient in MS office

  • Experience working with sales account databases and CRM Platforms (ideally Salesforce)

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000 USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
