    Summary Champion Canada Modular Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a floorplan operations focused professional. This role will oversee and manage internal and external floorplan programs for Champion Canada Modular Ltd. In this position one will need to be able to manage compliance, develop process improvement strategies, work with the Sales organization to manage the program's retailer base and build strong relationships with both internal and external customers.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Manage Focus Finance (internal floorplan):

  • Review and negotiate legal documents including term sheets, insurance, and security

  • Invoice and track interest and curtailment payments

  • Periodic review of customers in the Focus Finance portfolio

  • Assist Corporate Credit with the review of new Focus Finance applicants

  • Partner with Corporate Accounting to reconcile financial statements

  • Responsible for completing registrations of conditional sales contracts and submitting all required notices per regulations

  • Inventory flooring and release process. Provide final approval on all deals for internal teams prior to homes being built and shipped. Approval requirements include a review of the sales contract, invoice and any applicable legal documentation

  • Maintain all applicable documents in the customer/dealer files

  • Oversee retailer finance audit process and housekeeping expectations for adherence

  • Act as a liaison and main point of contact for external floorplan lenders:

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new dealers with the floorplan lending institution ensuring compliance with company policies

  • Coordinate invoicing and payments with floorplan lenders

  • Work closely with dealers and floorplan lenders personnel and sales teams

  • Engaging in negotiations with floorplan lenders to secure favorable repurchase terms, ensuring efficient and mutually beneficial agreements that align with the company's financial goals. Monitor and follow up for timely receipt of annual volume rebate where applicable

  • Promptly resolve repurchase issues

  • Develop and manage financial programs to support the manufacturing processes, collaborating with floorplan lenders to structure added collateral support where applicable

  • Build strong relationships with potential new retailers while providing excellent customer service to current retailers. Relationships directly impact setting up new dealers, collaborating on resolutions, and obtaining repurchase obligations quarterly for DVR calculations

  • Partner with internal management to review potential retailer deals. Offer support and training to management teams as needed

  • As necessary, coordinate the collection of unpaid deals.

    Education and/or Experience

  • Experience with floorplan financing or asset-based lending

  • Knowledge of Provincial laws and regulations as it relates to registering security interest in Canada including the Personal Property Security Act, Personal Property Registry and UCC filings

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or at least four years related applicable finance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Willingness to learn, be open to new ideas and challenge the status quo

  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
