Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.
your main tasks:
to make customer acquisitions and bring a new business
review of customer contracts and coordination with legal and other involved departments
identify application areas where TE does not have a dominating position and define account coverage and product requirements
responsibility for sales and care of key customers
responsibility for some chosen customers on EMEA level ( contracts, pricing negotiations, project monitoring, definition of sales and delivery conditions )
to negotiate pricing and sales terms, quoting products to customers
to monitor key figures and initiate suitable corrective actions
execution of sales strategy and annual objectives
project management
report sales territory performance
forecast and budget planning
your profile:
Secondary school / University (Technical/Business) is preferred
some years of working experience in a similar role is a must have
Sales negotiations skills
Sales acumen
Self-time management
Technical skills
Fluent in German and English - written and spoken
Deep knowledge about customer structure, market condition as well as competitor and supplier landscape
Strong problem solving, strategic and tactical thinking, and analytical skills
Ability to form successful working relationships quickly at all levels
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Car driving license necessary.
Position requires flexibility regarding travelling
